“The Red Fall From Wonderland”

Everyone knows the story of Alice in Wonderland right?

Girl follows rabbit down hole, lands in a magical world called Wonderland, has some adventures with a few sketchy characters, pisses off a queen, escapes decapitation, and wakes up completely unscathed because it was all a dream (or a really bad drug trip considering everything she ate/drank/inhaled during her time in Wonderland)?

Right.

Well, there’s this contest on deviantART called Twisted Fairytales Contest.  Basically, artists take their favourite fairy tale and, mess with it a bit.

I’m not an artist.  But my friend Courtney (seoulchan) is.  She drew this amazing piece called “The Red Fall From Wonderland” where the Queen of Hearts got her wish and Alice is seconds from falling victim to a guillotine–all while the Mad Hatter, March Hare, and Dormouse have a fun little tea party above them.
